Preferred candidate profile

- Excellent hands-on C++ and OOAD understanding
- Experience with Visual Studio on Windows
- Previous exposure to software related to HMI development for electronic or similar systems
- Willing to work in writing control software encompassing machine h/w, electronics, and electrical aspects
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Robust team player who can work with cross functional and cross geography teams
- Role & responsibilities

- Designing and implementation of workflows in machine control software using C++/Qt/QML in the HMI and interfacing with the hardware like PLC
- Understanding and analysing functional requirements and issues
- Problem solving and solution formulation
- Estimation and tracking of work
- Hands on coding and unit/API testing for feature implementation
- Troubleshooting issues with a system engineering perspective making use of the software expertise and the knowledge of the integrated h/w
- Participation in full life cycle of the product
- Work with the team to meet project objectives including communication with stakeholders
- Following defined development processes [TFS usage, code metrics, documentation if any] and delivering on time with quality
