About Position:

We are seeking a hands-on Application Security Engineer with strong experience in AWS WAF implementation, deployment, configuration, and tuning to secure web applications and APIs hosted in AWS environments. The engineer will be responsible for deploying AWS WAF controls, implementing Web ACLs, configuring protection against web-based attacks, integrating WAF with AWS services, performing rule tuning, and supporting application migration and onboarding activities.

What You'll Do:

- AWS WAF Deployment Implementation Deploy and configure AWS WAF for web applications and APIs.
- Create and manage Web ACLs.
- Implement application protection policies based on business and security requirements.
- Execute pilot deployments, testing, and production rollouts.
- Support onboarding of current applications into AWS WAF.
- Perform WAF tuning and optimization activities following deployment.
