Associate Vice President – Operations | Chennai

As we continue to strengthen and expand our business, we are seeking an accomplished Associate Vice President (Operations) to provide strategic and operational leadership, drive business performance, build high-performing teams, and contribute to the long-term growth of the organisation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Lead and drive operational excellence across Production, Delivery and Quality functions.

Own and manage business performance with a strong focus on P&L;, productivity, quality, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a strategic partner in delivering value.

Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Drive process optimisation, cost efficiency and business transformation initiatives.

Evaluate business opportunities and risks to support sustainable growth and informed decision-making.

Work closely with the senior leadership team and progressively build exposure across different areas of the publishing business. What We’re Looking For





15–20 years of progressive leadership experience in Production, Delivery and Quality Operations.

A strong techno-commercial background with proven experience in P&L; Management, Client Management and People Leadership.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.

High learning agility with a genuine desire to grow professionally and personally.

Commercially aware and cost-conscious, with the ability to balance operational excellence and business outcomes.

Confident in evaluating risks and making sound business decisions.

Naturally collaborative, inclusive and empathetic, while maintaining objectivity and accountability.

Proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues and business partners.

Willingness to travel extensively.

Based in Chennai or willing to relocate.
