Role & responsibilities

- Plan and execute automation projects in collaboration with Plant, Manufacturing Engineering (ME), and cross-functional teams.
- Identify automation opportunities in Pressure Die Casting (PDC) and Machine Shop operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Take responsibility for all technical and engineering aspects of automation projects.
- Ensure successful project execution within defined timelines and budgets.
- Drive cost optimization through cutting-edge automation solutions and technical expertise.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and implementation of automation projects.
- Monitor project performance, savings, equipment utilization, power consumption, tool consumption, water usage, and AMC costs.
- Improve equipment reliability by reducing MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and enhancing MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
- Troubleshoot and resolve Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, PLC, and Robotics-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, technical, and safety requirements during project execution and installation.
- Lead and guide automation technicians and project teams during implementation.





Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

Mandatory: Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE)

Preferred: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or related discipline

Experience

Experience in Robotics and Industrial Automation

Experience in Automotive Manufacturing preferred

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience in:
