About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team at Crowe. In this role, you will oversee and manage audit engagements, lead a team of auditors, and serve as a key point of contact for clients.

Your expertise will ensure that all audit work is conducted in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies. You will play a vital role in planning and designing audit strategies tailored to clients’ industries and risks, managing the entire audit process from planning to reporting, and contributing to the firm’s growth initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills, deepen technical expertise, and work with diverse clients across various sectors.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. A minimum of five years of recent and relevant external audit experience in a public accounting environment is required.





Candidates must hold a CA or CPA certification aligned with the assigned home office state or be eligible to acquire a reciprocal certification. Additionally, at least three years of supervisory experience is essential. Exceptional candidates will demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, excellent analytical and communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

The ability to manage multiple client engagements efficiently, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a professional presence with clients and colleagues is critical. Flexibility to work additional hours and travel to client sites or other Crowe offices is also necessary.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality audit work that is conducted in accordance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships, ensuring exceptional responsiveness, and proactive communication.
- Plan and design audit strategies and approaches tailored to clients' industry and risks; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Manage the audit process, including budgeting, scheduling, billing, and resource allocation.
- Understand engagement economics and ensure compliance with firm-required processes such as assessment of WIP, invoicing, and time entry.




- Present audit findings and recommendations to senior management or audit committees.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Participate in the firm’s growth initiatives by identifying and promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients.
- Contribute to proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
- Network with industry professionals and participate in professional organizations.
- Contribute to the development of firm policies and procedures.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, independence, and professional skepticism in all engagements.
