Role Description The Asst. Technician role at Ipca Laboratories Limited is a full-time, in office position based in Gandhidham. The individual in this role will support routine manufacturing and laboratory operations, including preparation of materials, handling equipment, and assisting in production processes according to standard operating procedures.
Daily tasks may include monitoring process parameters, documenting activities accurately, maintaining cleanliness and safety in work areas, and reporting any deviations or equipment issues to supervisors.
The Asst. Technician will collaborate with technical and quality teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company quality standards.
This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a pharmaceutical environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess basic technical skills in handling laboratory or production equipment, with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Candidates should possess robust observational and documentation skills, including accurate record-keeping, basic data entry, and reporting of process or equipment deviations.
- Candidates should possess good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and quality personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Candidates should possess sound knowledge of basic science or pharmaceutical processes, supported by a relevant diploma or vocational qualification (e.g., in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or related technical field).
- Candidates should possess a strong focus on workplace safety, hygiene, and compliance, with willingness to learn and adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Previous experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, or related industrial operations is beneficial.
- Ability to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required in a production environment is beneficial.
