Role Description The Associate Product Manager role at Popular Foods Co. is a full-time, on-site position based in Nelamangala. This role involves supporting end-to-end product lifecycle management across multiple categories, including market research, product requirement gathering, and coordinating with sourcing, production, and quality teams.

The Associate Product

Manager will track product performance, analyze sales and margin data, and recommend improvements to packaging, pricing, and positioning. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product documentation, assisting with new product launches,



collaborating with marketing and sales on go-to-market plans, and ensuring compliance with relevant food standards and regulations. The role also requires close coordination with operations to maintain consistent product availability and quality.

Qualifications

Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort with data analysis, Excel or similar tools, and performance tracking.

Product management-related skills such as requirements gathering, basic roadmap planning, stakeholder coordination, and documentation.

Operational and process-oriented skills, including attention to detail, understanding of supply chain or manufacturing workflows, and quality-focused mindset.

Communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with sourcing, production, quality, sales, and marketing teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field; prior experience or internship in FMCG, food, or consumer products is an advantage.

Familiarity with food safety regulations, packaging standards, and basic market research techniques is beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Nelamangala, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
