Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and passionate Associate Animator to join our game art team. This role focuses on bringing slot game experiences to life through engaging animations, visual effects, and motion design while developing technical and artistic skills under the guidance of experienced team members. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of animation fundamentals, attention to detail, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced game development environment.

Job Location: Pune.

Key Responsibilities

- Create animations for slot symbols, characters, feature elements, and UI assets.

- Develop simple to intermediate motion graphics and visual effects.

- Support senior animators in creating and refining game animations.

- Follow established animation styles, guidelines, and quality standards.

- Ensure animations are smooth, appealing, and aligned with gameplay requirements.

- Collaborate closely with illustrators, designers, developers, and producers.

- Prepare animation assets for game implementation.

- Incorporate feedback efficiently and iterate on animations as required.

- Completing assigned tasks within agreed timelines while seeking guidance when needed.

- Established quality standards and incorporating feedback to improve animation quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Good understanding of animation principles including timing, spacing, anticipation, squash and stretch, and appeal.

- Basic understanding of motion, visual storytelling, and animation workflows.





- Proficiency in animation tools such as Spine, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or similar software.

- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for asset preparation.

- Ability to create clean, polished, and visually engaging animations.

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Experience

- 1-3 years of experience in animation, motion graphics, game art, or a related field.

- Portfolio demonstrating animation fundamentals and motion design capabilities.

Good to Have

- Exposure to game development or iGaming projects.

- Familiarity with slot game animations and visual effects.

- Understanding of game asset integration workflows.

- Exposure to particle effects and motion graphics.

- Experience with AI-assisted creative workflows and tools.
