Role Overview/Your Impact

- Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for web UI and API testing
- Contribute to existing test automation frameworks and follow established coding standards
- Execute automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines and analyze test results
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to understand requirements and identify test scenarios
- Report and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve test quality




- Learn and apply best practices in test automation, continuous testing, and quality engineering
- Assist in maintaining test data, test environments, and documentation
- Stay updated with latest trends in test automation and AI-assisted testing tools

What Does The Team Do We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Engineer-QA to join our quality engineering team and grow your career in modern test automation. You'll work with Playwright to build automated tests for web and API applications, learn continuous testing practices, and contribute to our automation framework under the guidance of senior engineers. You'll learn & grow into Advanced Playwright automation techniques (fixtures, page objects, custom reporters). Also, you’ll be Building and scaling test automation frameworks, implementing continuous testing in DevOps pipelines, leveraging AI tools to enhance testing productivity, performance testing, security testing, and accessibility testing, test architecture patterns and design principles, mentoring others as you progress to mid-level and senior roles

Our Expectations

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent practical experience with demonstrable automation projects/portfolio
- 0-2 years of experience in software automation testing
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
- Programming knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or Java
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, browser DevTools)
- Familiarity with API testing concepts (REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods)
- Understanding and experience of working with version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab)
- Knowledge of software testing fundamentals (test design, test levels, SDLC)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication skills and team collaboration

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Selenium or other automation tools
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)




- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with test management or defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail)
- Knowledge of SQL for database validation
- Awareness of AI tools for testing
- Understanding of accessibility and cross-browser testing
- Personal projects or contributions to open-source test automation

Technical Skills

Must Have:

- Playwright
- JavaScript/TypeScript OR Java (basic to intermediate level)
- HTML, CSS, Web Technologies
- Git basics
- API testing fundamentals
- Manual testing background

Good to Have:

- Selenium WebDriver
- Postman or API testing tools
- Basic CI/CD knowledge
- SQL basics
- Docker fundamentals
- BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

What Success Looks Like (First 6-12 Months)

- First 3 Months: Write 50+ automated test cases, achieve 95%+ pass rate on assigned modules
- 6 Months: Independently automate user stories, reduce manual regression testing by 30-40% for your assigned features
- 12 Months: Contribute to framework enhancements, mentor new team members, achieve 80%+
