Role Description

Associate Engineer II – Integration Services

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integration services and batch processing applications that enable reliable data flow from upstream systems to downstream platforms.

- Take ownership of assigned modules and deliver high-quality, production-ready code with minimal supervision.

- Follow Agile practices and adhere to secure coding standards, code review processes, and deployment guidelines.

- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, reliability, and data integrity across build and deployment pipelines.

- Work closely with product teams and upstream/downstream system owners to understand data contracts, validation rules, and transformation requirements.

- Implement robust exception handling, logging, monitoring, and ing mechanisms for integration services and batch jobs.

- Support troubleshooting of production issues, batch failures, and data discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Contribute to a cooperative team culture and demonstrate solid communication and time management skills.

Qualifications





- 3+ years of experience in software development handling business-critical applications.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java application development.

- 2+ years of experience working with microservices or distributed applications.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch for building integration and batch processing solutions.

- Experience working with relational databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL) and strong SQL skills.

- Familiarity with event-driven systems or messaging platforms (Kafka/RabbitMQ) is a plus.

- Experience working in an Agile environment.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

Skills

- Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch

- REST APIs, Microservices architecture

- Database: Oracle, PostgreSQL – Good to have

- Messaging (Good to Have): Kafka, RabbitMQ

- CI/CD: Git, Jenkins

- Monitoring & Logging tools (e.g., application logs, dashboards, job monitoring tools)
