Position: Associate - Canteen Job Purpose To supervise and coordinate all canteen operations, ensure uninterrupted food services, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, controlling costs, and ensuring employee satisfaction through effective planning and administration.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

- Monitor manpower planning, verify medical fitness of employees, and allocate duties during shift hours.
- Review daily menus and issue materials based on operational requirements.
- Ensure adequate availability of LPG, milk, vegetables, and groceries and plan inventory requirements for upcoming shifts.
- Ensure food preparation activities are carried out in accordance with hygiene and quality standards.
- Taste and verify food quality before dispatching food to the serving counter.
- Ensure regular cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, and table sanitation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards and other applicable environmental requirements.




- Maintain and monitor personal hygiene practices of canteen employees.
- Coordinate with the Engineering Department for maintenance and breakdown services.
- Coordinate fumigation and pest control activities as per schedule.
- Handle employee grievances and ensure smooth and uninterrupted canteen operations.
- Plan menus while ensuring adherence to approved budget and cost controls.
- Conduct market surveys and evaluate prices whenever abnormal price variations are observed.
- Implement measures to minimize food wastage and optimize resource utilization.
