Role Description The Assistant Manager – Sourcing and Vendor Development – Direct Material will oversee end-to-end sourcing activities for direct materials used in automotive manufacturing. This full-time in office role, based in Bengaluru, includes identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely procurement aligned with production schedules.

The role involves developing new vendors, assessing their capabilities, conducting audits, and driving supplier performance improvements in quality, cost, and delivery. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with production, quality, and logistics teams, managing purchase orders,



tracking material availability, and resolving supply issues.

The Assistant

Manager will also analyze market trends, support cost-reduction initiatives, maintain accurate sourcing documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in vendor development, supplier evaluation, and supplier relationship management.

- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and basic reporting tools will be advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and adhere to safety and compliance requirements.
