- Deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBG) and General Medicine.
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Develop course materials, including syllabi, study guides, and assessments.
- Assess student performance through regular evaluations, examinations, and feedback.
- Organize and supervise clinical training and hands-on sessions for students.
- Facilitate discussions and case studies to enhance student understanding of complex medical scenarios.
Clinical Duties:
- Provide patient care in hospital settings under the supervision of senior faculty or independently, as applicable.
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency care management.
- Supervise and guide junior residents and medical students in clinical practice.
- Manage obstetric emergencies, labor cases, and general medical conditions in patients.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics,
and patient safety standards.
Research and Development:
- Engage in academic research, contributing to the body of knowledge in OBG and General Medicine.
- Publish research findings in reputable medical journals and present them at conferences.
- Support interdisciplinary research initiatives and collaborations.
- Mentor students and junior faculty members in their research activities.
Administrative and Team-oriented Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and clinical training logs.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and review.
- Collaborate with colleagues on co-curricular activities, seminars, and workshops.
- Assist in accreditation processes and maintain documentation for quality assurance.
- Act as a liaison between the institution and healthcare partners for clinical training programs.
