Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in core Computer Science and related areas, including practical and lab-based sessions. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating course curricula, preparing instructional materials, evaluating student performance, and providing academic advising and mentorship. The role also involves engaging in research or applied projects aligned with CTPL’s EdTech focus, contributing to academic program development,



and participating in departmental and institutional activities.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, requiring regular interaction with students, faculty, and academic leadership. Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science with the ability to teach core subjects and emerging technologies.

Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing, revising, and aligning course content with industry and academic standards.

Knowledge of Data Science concepts, tools, and applications relevant to contemporary computing and analytics.

Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices, with the ability to integrate security topics into teaching and projects.

Proficiency in Programming, with experience in one or more widely used languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).

Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field.

Prior teaching or academic experience in higher education is preferred.

Ability to use digital learning tools and platforms effectively in classroom and lab settings.

Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Commitment to student-centered learning, academic integrity, and continuous professional development.
