Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor English role located in the Greater Coimbatore Area.

The Assistant

Professor will teach undergraduate courses in English language and literature, deliver lectures, facilitate discussions, and guide students in developing strong communication and critical thinking skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, designing and updating course materials and assessments, mentoring and advising students, and maintaining academic records.



The role also involves participating in curriculum development, departmental meetings, academic committees, and contributing to research, publications, and other scholarly activities.

The faculty member is expected to support institutional initiatives, uphold academic standards, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and use varied instructional methods.

Expertise in English Literature and Literature, with the capacity to teach core and elective papers aligned with the curriculum.

Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, course outcomes, and assessment strategies.

Good academic record with relevant teaching or research experience in higher education.

Ability to use educational technology and learning management systems to enhance teaching and assessment.

Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and student-centered pedagogy.

Willingness to participate in research, seminars, workshops, and institutional development activities.
