(JD) Assistant Merchandiser

Position: Assistant Merchandiser

Department: Merchandising

Reporting To: Senior Merchandiser / Merchandising Manager

Job Summary The Assistant Merchandiser will support the Merchandising team in sample development, order execution, production coordination, documentation, and system updates to ensure timely execution of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in coordinating sample development based on buyer references or CAD.
- Maintain records of sample developments by product category.
- Coordinate sample corrections, revisions, tracking and dispatch.
- Follow up on sample approvals and order confirmations.
- Assist in verifying Purchase Orders (POs) and preparing documentation.
- Coordinate with the Purchase team for raw material requirements.
- Support TNA preparation and monitor timelines.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, Purchase and Logistics teams.
- Maintain shipment, hold quantity and rejection records.




- Update ERP/System with PO details, approvals and timelines.
- Prepare daily/weekly status reports and pending trackers.
- Escalate delays to the Merchandiser.

Required Skills
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Word and ERP systems.
- Robust follow-up and documentation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Experience
- 02 years in Merchandising / Export Coordination.

- Timely sample coordination.
- Accurate ERP and documentation updates.
- On-time TNA updates.
- Effective coordination with internal departments.
- Support in achieving on-time order execution.
- Minimal documentation errors.
