Purpose of the Role To support the First Team Manager in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of coaching, player development, match preparation, and team operations.

The Assistant

Manager plays a key role in creating a positive, high-performance environment that helps the team compete successfully in the Adran South league.

Key Responsibilities Coaching & Player Development Assist in planning and delivering training sessions.

Support the development of players’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental performance.

Provide individual feedback and mentoring to players.

Help monitor player progression and welfare.

Matchday Duties

Assist with match preparation, analysis, and tactical planning.

Support team selection discussions and matchday logistics.

Provide tactical observations and feedback during matches.

Assist with post-match reviews and performance analysis.

Team Management

Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture.

Support communication between players, coaching staff, and club officials.

Help manage player attendance, discipline, and conduct.

Assist in recruitment and talent identification when required.



Administration & Compliance Ensure adherence to league, club, and governing body regulations.

Assist with maintaining player records and training documentation.

Support safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements.

Essential Requirements Football coaching qualification (FAW/UEFA qualification preferred).

Experience coaching or managing football teams.

Solid communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Commitment to player development and women’s football.

Desirable Requirements

Experience in women’s football.

Match analysis and performance analysis experience.

First Aid and Safeguarding certifications.

Experience working within a competitive league environment.

Key Attributes

Positive and collaborative approach.

Strong tactical understanding of football.

Ability to motivate and develop players.
