About the Function:
Supply Chain & Manufacturing is where our brands are made, moved and delivered to the world.
With over half of our people working across more than 100 sites, this is a complex, large-scale operation that brings together production, logistics, engineering and supplier partnerships.
It’s fast-paced and hands-on, with teams working together to ensure quality, efficiency and sustainability at every stage. From sourcing ingredients to getting products into customers’ hands, you’ll play a role in delivering the brands people know and love.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering | Master’s in Production and Operations preferred.
Experience: 4-7 years of relevant functional experience in Purchase, materials control, warehousing. Preferred from distillery and boiler process industry.
Knowledge & skills:
- Knowledge of Purchase, Materials Management and Warehousing practices
- Good planning and Organizing Skills
- High Flexibility and Problem Solving
About the role:
- Sourcing of Engg spares (capex and opex) , services and IMFL consumables and services.
- Indent tracking and arranging the materials as per requirement within the timelines.
- Maintaining minimum engineering stocks and consumables for smooth operations.
- SLOB reduction.
- Collecting quotations,
negotiating with vendors and making comparative statements and forwarding for approvals
- Purchase order/ LOI creation for capex, apex materials and services.
- Fallow up for open PO items
- Monthly audits, Physical verification vs books
- Engineering stores compliance SOP adherence material in awarding, GRN bookings with in 48 hours, consumption bookings daily basis Part of ITF team in Manex and performing related activities
- Vendor code creation for new vendor on boarding.
- Vendor development for spares and services.
- Productivity savings through direct and indirect materials negotiation and inventory controls.
