Role - Assistant Manager Formulation

Experience - 3 5 Years

Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Processing, Food Engineering, Food Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline

Location - Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Note -

- Willingness to travel PAN INDIA Locations when required.
- Hindi speaking is Mandatory

What You'll Do :

- Develop and optimize formulations for extruded snack pellets and innovative snack products.
- Lead laboratory, pilot plant, and commercial production trials to ensure successful product scale-up.
- Improve product quality by optimizing texture, expansion, oil uptake, shelf life, and sensory characteristics.
- Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues during development and commercialization.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and ISO/FSSC requirements.
- Partner with Procurement to evaluate ingredients and identify cost-effective formulation opportunities.
- Prepare formulation records, technical documentation, specifications, and trial reports.
- Drive innovation projects focused on healthier, multigrain, and clean-label snack solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Production,



Quality, Procurement, Sales, and Marketing teams to bring new products to market.
- Mentor junior R&D; professionals and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

We're Looking For

- 3 -5 years of experience in Food R&D;, Product Development, or Formulation.
- Hands-on experience with Extruded Snacks, Snack Pellets, or Third Generation (3G) Snacks.
- Robust understanding of extrusion technology, food ingredients, starch functionality, and raw material behavior.
- Experience conducting pilot trials and commercial product scale-up.
- Knowledge of food quality systems and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants, suppliers, laboratories, and market locations across India.
- Conversational Hindi and English proficiency will be an added advantage.
