Assistant Manager – Corporate Communications

Role Overview The Assistant Manager Corporate Communications will be responsible for executing communication strategies that enhance brand and platform reputation. The role involves working closely and collaborating across teams to develop explicit, consistent and impactful messaging for external audiences. Partner and coordinate with Publicity teams of channels/ BUs to ensure that all external engagements align with the broader narrative of the organization

Key Responsibilities

- Initiate Plans and execute communication plans for platform features, business initiatives , international expansion, brand initiatives and partnerships

- Build and maintain relationships with media, journalists and industry influencers.

- Draft/Monitor press releases, media notes, FAQs, messaging documents and other required content basis business requirements – across earned, paid and owned media

- Drive the agencies and coordinate press interaction, events and announcements.

- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure communication aligns with business objectives.

- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations.





- Manage communication calendars and ensure daily storytelling and timely execution of initiatives with focused output driven approach

- Track daily media coverage, sentiment and share of voice

- Identify opportunities executive profiling and industry participation to ensure SOV

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations

- 6-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or strategic communications, preferably in consumer tech space and OTT platforms

Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are an absolute must

- Strong media relations and ability to network

- Ability to simplify complex business and technology topics into compelling narratives for the press

- Team Player : experience coordinating and collaborating with across teams

- Understanding of technology, OTT, entertainment and consumer tech trends.

- Familiarity with media monitoring and PR measurement tools.

- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Added Advantage

- Experience launching consumer-facing digital products or platform communications

- Background in OTT, streaming, technology or OTT corporate communications.
