Assessment Internship Opportunity | Athena Law Associates | Current Delhi About The Internship Athena Law Associates is inviting applications for the position of Assessment Intern , with the internship commencing from July/August 2026 onwards . This is an office-based internship at the firm's Dwarka, Sector 18B, New Delhi office.
The internship offers practical exposure to indirect tax litigation , enabling interns to work closely with the firm's lawyers on matters involving GST, Customs, the Foreign Trade Policy, and other allied indirect tax laws.
Eligibility Applicants Must Be
- Final-year students of a 5-year integrated LL.B. programme.
- Final-year students of a 3-year LL.B. programme.
- Fresh law graduates.
Candidates Should Also Possess
- A basic understanding of GST, Customs, the Foreign Trade Policy, and other indirect tax laws.
- Strong legal drafting and formatting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

- Goods and Services Tax (GST)
- Customs Law
- Foreign Trade Policy (FTP)
- Indirect Tax Litigation
- Allied Indirect Tax Laws
What You'll Gain During the internship, selected candidates will:
- Assist lawyers in handling indirect tax litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal drafts.
- Develop drafting,
formatting, and analytical skills.
- Gain practical experience in tax advisory and litigation.
As this is an assessment internship , outstanding performers may be considered for a permanent position with the firm upon completion of their law degree. Duration Not specified.
