Role Description The Article Trainee will support the firm’s professional team in day-to-day assignments across accounts, audits, taxation, and compliance work.
Responsibilities include assisting in bookkeeping and financial statement preparation, supporting statutory and internal audits, working on income tax and GST matters, and helping prepare working papers, reports, and documentation. The role also involves research on accounting, tax, and regulatory updates, supporting secretarial and RBI-related filings,
and contributing to client communication and follow-ups under supervision. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, offering hands-on practical exposure and structured learning in diverse areas of chartered accountancy.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
Candidates should possess skills in audit assistance, working paper preparation, and basic internal control understanding.
Candidates should possess skills in taxation (direct and indirect), including income tax, GST basics, and return preparation support.
Candidates should possess skills in MS Excel and MS Word, data analysis, and maintaining organized documentation and records.
Candidates should possess strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills for working on regulatory and compliance matters.
Candidates should possess explicit written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
Candidates pursuing CA (Article) as per ICAI guidelines or having a relevant commerce or accounting background will be preferred.
Candidates should possess a professional work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and readiness to work on-site in Gurugram.
