Role Description The Article Trainee will support the finance and audit teams in delivering engagements across internal audit, assurance, accounting, and corporate finance. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in preparation of working papers, financial statements, reports, and documentation, as well as performing data analysis, reconciliations, and basic financial modelling under supervision. The trainee will help in conducting fieldwork for audits, reviewing processes and controls, and drafting observations and recommendations.
The role also involves coordinating with clients for information requests, maintaining organized records,
and contributing to research on regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India, offering hands-on exposure to strategic finance, consulting, and corporate advisory work.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of accounting, auditing standards, and financial reporting; ability to work with ledgers, trial balances, and financial statements.
Basic skills in financial analysis and modelling, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with quantitative data.
Strong research and documentation skills, with the ability to interpret regulations, policies, and financial information clearly and accurately.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports, summaries, and client-ready documentation.
Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate within a team, maintain qualified conduct in client interactions, and learn quickly in a structured environment.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a professional qualification in accounting or finance (such as CA, CMA, or equivalent), or a relevant degree in commerce, business, or finance.
Interest in internal audit, corporate finance, and consulting; prior internship or practical exposure in these areas is an advantage.
