The Area Sales Officer is responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within a designated geographical area for Piramal Pharma Limited. This role involves building robust customer relationships, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring effective product promotion to drive business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

Achieve assigned sales targets for a specific territory, covering a range of pharmaceutical products.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.

Execute sales and marketing strategies developed by the company to promote products effectively.

Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities, gather market intelligence, and address customer needs.

Monitor competitor activities and report on market trends to inform strategic decision-making.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, customer feedback, and market insights.

Manage product distribution and ensure optimal stock levels with distributors and retailers.

Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and medical conferences as required.

Handle customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.

Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field.

1-3 years of proven sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market and product knowledge.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets.

Positive analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in English and the local language.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
