We are specifically looking for candidates with Scientific Glassware and equipment background.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a driven, locally-connected Area Sales Manager to lead companys continued growth across Hyderabad and the wider Telangana region, with a sharp focus on expanding our laboratory glassware footprint among research institutions, diagnostic and testing labs, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, hospitals, and lab equipment dealers/distributors.

Telangana is an established and rapid-growing market, with significant headroom still to capture. You'll join a strong, existing sales team in the region, reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM), with high visibility to leadership team and real ownership over how you scale the territory further.

What You'll Do

- Own and grow the Telangana/Hyderabad territory for companys laboratory glassware range, deepening penetration in an already high-growth market
- Identify and onboard new distributors, dealers, and institutional buyers — research labs, diagnostic centers, pharma/biotech companies, hospitals, and testing facilities

Build lasting relationships with existing customers and channel partners, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
- Develop and execute territory sales plans, forecasts, and pipeline strategies to meet growth targets
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable, long-term partnerships
- Track competitor activity and market trends specific to the laboratory glassware and scientific apparatus space in South India
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations — virtually and in-person across the region




- Communicate companys manufacturing capabilities, quality certifications (including NABL accreditation), and product reliability as key differentiators in every sales conversation
- Maintain accurate records and pipeline data in Zoho CRM; deliver regular sales reports and forecasts
- Report regularly to the RSM and collaborate closely with companys India sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to support regional promotions and launches.

What You Bring

- Proven experience in territory or area sales management, ideally in laboratory equipment, scientific apparatus, glassware, diagnostics, or related B2B/institutional sales
- Strong existing network among lab equipment dealers, distributors, or institutional buyers (research labs, diagnostics, pharma/biotech, hospitals) in Hyderabad/Telangana is a strong plus
- Solid skills in sales planning, forecasting, and CRM-based pipeline management
- Confident negotiator with a consultative, relationship-first sales approach
- Comfortable working independently in a remote role while staying closely aligned with a cross-functional team and RSM
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
