Role Description The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore, responsible for overseeing multiple retail stores within the assigned territory. In this role, the Area Manager monitors store performance, drives sales targets, and ensures excellent customer service across all locations. Daily activities include visiting stores, coaching and mentoring store teams, implementing visual merchandising and operational standards, and tracking key performance indicators.

Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to support marketing initiatives, optimize inventory, and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.



This role also involves analyzing regional trends, identifying growth opportunities, and reporting regularly to senior management on business performance and improvement plans.

Qualifications

Solid retail operations and store management skills, with experience overseeing multiple locations or a territory.

Proficiency in sales planning, target achievement, and performance analysis, including the use of reports and KPIs.

Team leadership capabilities, including staff training, coaching, scheduling, and conflict resolution.

Customer service and relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering consistent, high-quality experiences.

Basic financial and business acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments and levels.

Ability to work on-site across multiple stores in Coimbatore, manage time efficiently, and adapt to a dynamic retail environment.

Prior experience as an Area Manager, Cluster Manager, or similar role in retail; exposure to eyewear or healthcare retail is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
