About the Role The AR & AP Manager will own receivables and payables operations end to end, with accountability for invoice accuracy, collections, vendor payments, reconciliations, and statutory compliance. The role requires strong control mindset, close coordination with internal teams and external partners, and a focus on clean ledgers, reduced overdue balances, and timely reporting. It also includes MIS support, audit coordination, and process improvement to help improve efficiency and control across finance operations. Key Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, advances, debit notes, and adjustments accurately in ERP or SAP, ensuring entries are complete and supported by approvals.





Plan and execute vendor payments within credit terms and cash flow needs, while resolving invoice issues with vendors and internal teams.

Perform vendor reconciliations and explicit open items such as advances, debit notes, and unadjusted balances.

Manage customer invoicing, collections follow-up, and ageing control to reduce overdue receivables and escalate disputes early.

Handle TDS deduction, accounting, remittance, and return support with consultants and auditors.

Prepare AP and AR ageing, outstanding summaries, payment trackers, and MIS reports for management review.

Support internal and statutory audits with schedules, documentation, and control evidence.

Identify process gaps and support automation or system improvements that raise efficiency and accuracy.

Essential

Skills & Technologies

Strong accounting and financial control knowledge, with the discipline to maintain accurate ledgers and compliant processes.

Hands-on ERP and SAP experience for invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Strong MS Excel skills for ageing analysis, trackers, reconciliations, and management reporting.

Solid analytical and problem-solving ability to spot mismatches and close gaps quickly.





Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for working with vendors, internal teams, consultants, and auditors.

High attention to detail and the ability to work within SOPs, approvals, and internal controls.

Exposure to process improvement or automation in finance operations is an added advantage.

Additional

Plus

Experience with multi-site operations and regular travel will be helpful for this role.

Tamil, English, and Hindi speaking skills are an advantage.

Exposure to process improvement or automation in AR and AP is a plus. What You'll Bring
