He will be responsible for the final tuning, adjustment and functional testing of machine tools, ensuring that each machine operates correctly, meets the required technical specifications and complies with Vigel quality standards before delivery to the customer. The role requires strong mechanical skills, practical experience on machine tools or complex industrial equipment, and the ability to identify and solve technical issues during the final assembly, testing and commissioning phases.

Duties

- Perform mechanical tuning and fine adjustment of machine tools.
- Carry out geometric checks, alignments and functional tests on machines and machine components.
- Support the internal commissioning and final testing activities before machine delivery.
- Verify the correct operation of axes, mechanical units, tool changers, spindles and other main machine assemblies.
- Identify mechanical issues, misalignment, vibrations, backlash, accuracy problems or functional defects.
- Carry out corrective actions and adjustments in cooperation with Assembly, Quality, Engineering, Automation and Service teams.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical documentation and machine specifications.
- Use measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify machine accuracy and performance.
- Support troubleshooting activities during machine start-up and validation.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with safety rules, internal procedures and quality standards.
- Support, when required, installation,



start-up or commissioning activities at customer sites.

Requirements

- Previous experience in machine tool assembly, mechanical tuning, testing, commissioning or maintenance.
- Good knowledge of mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Valuable ability to use measuring instruments such as dial gauges, micrometres, callipers, levels and other precision tools.
- Knowledge of mechanical assemblies, machine axes, spindles, guides, ball screws and main machine tool components.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electromechanics will be considered a plus.
- Previous experience on CNC machine tools, machining centres, or automated industrial equipment is highly appreciated
- Good problem-solving skills and practical approach to technical issues.
- Precision, attention to detail and strong manual skills.
- Ability to work in a team and cooperate with different departments
- Availability for occasional business trips, if required.
