Education qualification - BE / Diploma - Mechanical

Position description: To establish maintenance activity at commissioning site, trained site team and client team and established plant continuity without break down

Primary Responsibilities

1.Responsible for installation, repairs, maintenance and upkeep of infrastructure within the plant.

2.Monitor preventive maintenance & breakdown with a strong focus on the continuous improvement of work practices

3. Develop the skill and knowledge of other maintenance staff

4. Work with other departments ensuring that the facility complies with relevant legislative, safety and engineering standards for continued operations

Additional Responsibilities:

- Develop maintenance schedules for the facility
- Manage & skilling the maintenance team to carry out important maintenance of plant and machinery
- Manage financial aspects of the maintenance and foster a work culture of valuing constant improvement and productivity
- Ensuring the facility is a safe working environment by having well maintained and safe to use facility and in compliant with OH&S; standards.



Safety issues if any must be quickly addressed

Required Knowledge:

- Maintenance (p reventive & predictive) management role in chemical process industry
- Maintaining, installing and repairing of industrial equipment like p umps, Decanter/Valves/Mechanical Seals/Blowers/Fire System etc.

- Developing maintenance schedules and managing within the budgets

Required Skills:

- Leadership & Planning abilities
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and rapidly changing priorities within the annual maintenance budgets
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical and engineering principles , equipments ( static & Rotary) used in the facility
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse, solve and explain the complex problems in a simple way

- A strong working knowledge of the regulatory & safety requirements of the facility.
