Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimation Engineer with a strong background in industrial electrical turnkey projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, and technical-commercial proposals for industrial electrical contracting projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for industrial projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from electrical drawings and layouts.
- Prepare BOQs for:
- HT & LT Electrical Systems
- Transformers
- DG Sets
- PCC/MCC Panels
- Cable Trays
- Power & Control Cables
- Earthing Systems
- Lighting Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems

- Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Analyze vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Prepare techno-commercial offers and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with design, project, purchase, and execution teams for accurate costing.
- Prepare project budgets and cost sheets.
- Identify value engineering opportunities for cost optimization.
- Maintain estimation records and tender databases.
- Attend pre-bid meetings whenever required.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical SLDs, layouts, and schematic drawings.
- Experience in quantity estimation and costing.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and specifications.
- Good understanding of tendering and bidding processes.
- Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
- Proficiency in:
- MS Excel (Advanced)
- MS Office
- AutoCAD (Preferred)
- Estimation/ERP Software (Preferred)

Mandatory Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in Electrical Estimation.
Must have worked with an Electrical Contracting / Electrical Turnkey Company.
Experience in Industrial Electrical Projects is mandatory.
Experience in preparing tenders, BOQs, and techno-commercial proposals.
Knowledge of HT/LT systems, cable sizing, earthing, lighting, and industrial power distribution.
