CMDB Tech Lead

Role Summary: Seeking a ServiceNow CMDB Technical Lead with strong expertise in CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to design, govern, and optimize an enterprise CMDB aligned to business services.

Experience: extensive experience in ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead CSDM-aligned CMDB architecture, CI modeling, relationships, and lifecycle management.
- Drive ServiceNow Discovery across on prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Design and maintain Service Mapping (top down and horizontal).
- Implement CMDB integrations using REST, and third party tools.
- Configure and manage IRE, reconciliation, and data normalization.
- Establish CMDB governance and data quality using CMDB Health dashboards.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Integration experience with Intune and Qualys
- ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)




- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and ITIL processes

Preferred Qualifications

- ServiceNow certifications: Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery
- Certified Implementation Specialist Service Mapping
- Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Experience with ITOM Visibility, ITAM, and APM
- Experience in large-scale CMDB transformation or maturity programs
