Job Title: SMSF Accountant
Job Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat / Bengaluru
Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)
Working Saturdays: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturdays

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) in compliance with the SIS Act and the Australian Income Tax Act.
- Audit SMSF financial statements from compliance, SIS Act, and taxation perspectives, and prepare audit reports and supporting documentation.
- Report contraventions of the SIS Act to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) where required.
- Prepare management letters and audit finalization reports highlighting audit findings, corrective actions, and recommendations for improving administrative procedures and internal controls.
- Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS/GST Returns).
- Conduct research on technical accounting and taxation matters.
- Handle end-to-end client engagements, including compliance, taxation, and tax planning.
- Provide advisory services on SMSF administration and operational matters, including:
- Establishment of SMSFs
- Addition or removal of trustees and members
- Valuation of fund assets





- Advise clients on compliance with in-house asset rules and contribution limits arising from changes in superannuation regulations.
- Process fund transfers and rollovers into or out of SMSFs, where the transfer decision has already been made.
- Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), and other regulatory authorities on taxation, audit, and SMSF-related matters.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

- CA, Inter CA, ICWA, or any other relevant accounting qualification with applicable work experience.
- B.Com or M.Com candidates with additional qualifications or relevant industry experience will also be considered.

Experience

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
- Proven experience in accounting, auditing, and taxation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Valuable written and verbal communication skills.
