Key Responsibilities

- L1 Incident Management & Application Support:
- Monitor application health, automated alerts, and incoming support tickets via ticketing tools (e.g., HPSM / ServiceNow / JIRA).
- Perform basic triage and root-cause analysis for transaction failures or application errors.
- Resolve basic end-user and application issues or escalate complex bugs/infrastructure defects to L2/L3 support teams per defined SLA guidelines.
- Batch Operations Management (EOD - BOD):
- Execute and monitor End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) routine batch jobs using scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M / Autosys / Cron).
- Coordinate with DBAs and application teams to resolve failed batch jobs and maintain system uptime.
- Linux Server & Scripting Operations:
- Access Linux/Unix environments to inspect application and server logs using standard CLI commands (tail, grep, awk, cat).
- Execute and maintain basic Shell scripts (.sh) for automated server health checks, log zipping/rotation, and routine workflow automation.
- Database Querying & Report Verification:




- Write and run basic to intermediate SQL queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY) to verify transaction logs, audit trail data, and database integrity.
- Generate daily server and application health reports for management review.
- Compliance & ITIL Process Adherence:
- Follow strict ITIL framework guidelines for Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Ensure full compliance with ICICI Bank's security, data privacy, and regulatory policies.

Required Candidate Profile & Skills

Mandatory Technical Skills

- Operating Systems: Unix / Linux workplace navigation and command-line knowledge.
- Databases: Hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle SQL / MySQL / MS SQL) for data retrieval and basic troubleshooting.

Desirable / Secondary Skills

- Scripting: Basic knowledge of Shell / Bash scripting (Freshers with foundational scripting knowledge are welcome).
- Process Knowledge: Understanding of EOD/BOD batch processing cycles and ITIL workflows.
