Application Specialist (Mineral Processing)

Skills: solid–liquid separation, process water treatment, scale inhibition, defoamers, grinding aids, filter aids, mining processes, chemical treatment applications, utilities water treatment

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical applications support to customers, sales teams, and partners throughout the sales process

Deliver on-site and multi-site technical support, including applications testing and troubleshooting

Support the development, validation, and commercialisation of recent and existing solutions

Prepare customer technical reports, trial proposals, and support commercial proposals

Primary technical focus on solid–liquid separation, process water treatment, scale inhibition,



defoamers, grinding aids, and filter aids

Qualifications & Experience

Tertiary qualification in a technical or scientific discipline

10+ years’ experience in mining processes, with strong expertise in solid–liquid separation and process water conditioning

Experience with mining and heavy industry chemical treatment applications

Familiarity with utilities water treatment

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

Location: Zambia, South Africa or any country within the Copperbelt
