Job Title - Application Security Analyst

Location - Remote in India

Role Type - 6-month contract with the potential for a 6-month extension

Must Have Skills:

- Application security testing experience
- Web application security testing experience
- Penetration testing experience
- Static code analysis and Static Application Security Testing experience
- Energetic Application Security Testing and assessment experience

Responsibilities and Job Details:

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across web applications, APIs, web services, databases, mobile applications, and cloud environments.
- Perform secure code reviews to identify critical security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation.
- Schedule, scope, prioritize, and execute SAST and DAST assessments.




- Analyze security scan results and provide clear remediation or mitigation recommendations to stakeholders.
- Reproduce, demonstrate, document, rate, and retest identified vulnerabilities.
- Support the installation, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAST and DAST tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Information Security Governance teams to align application security tools and processes with applicable policies, standards, and requirements.
- Conduct security testing using commercial and open-source tools such as Checkmarx, Fortify, Acunetix, Burp Suite, WebInspect, and Metasploit.
- Review audit and assessment reports and communicate findings to software developers, stakeholders, and management.
- Apply knowledge of OWASP standards, secure software development practices, DevOps, DevSecOps, and multi-tier application architectures.
- Assess application security risks associated with cloud platforms and emerging technologies, including generative AI.
- Communicate effectively in English while working in a fast-moving, customer- and employee-focused environment.
