Your tasks

Main tasks and duties

- Provide technical and field support for optical transceiver products and customer applications.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, interoperability, and performance issues on network equipment and optical links.
- Perform transceiver qualification and validation on customer platforms.
- Support customer escalations through root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
- Conduct laboratory testing and generate technical reports.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Quality, R&D;, and Sales teams to support customer projects.
- Deliver technical training and support customer visits when required.
- Develop expertise in transceiver EEPROM coding, platform compatibility, and product qualification.

Your profile

Education and experience

- Bachelors Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4 8 years of experience in Network Engineering, Technical Support, Application Engineering, or a related role.
- CCNA certification required; CCNP is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with networking equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Dell, HPE, Nokia, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet networking, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
- Exposure to optical networking or optical transceivers is highly desirable.
- Basic Linux and scripting knowledge is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.




- Strong English communication skills and willingness to work with global customers.
- Occasional international travel may be required.

Personal Qualifications

- Experience with SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP28, QSFP-DD, OSFP, or related optical modules.
- Knowledge of fiber optics, DWDM/CWDM, and data center networking.
- Familiarity with transceiver qualification, validation, and interoperability testing.
- Interest in learning EEPROM coding and transceiver software programming.
- Responsible, reliable, accurate, analytical, and independent way of working.
- Proactive with the necessary interest and willingness to learn recent things.
- Should be able to work in international, intercultural and cross functional teams.
