Role Overview

Responsibilities





- Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical design solutions.
- Design and develop application layouts, concepts, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Prepare 2D/3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Collaborate with the sales team to support pre-sales activities, including technical proposals and presentations.
- Perform feasibility studies and suggest optimal design solutions.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design accuracy and implementation.
- Review and improve existing designs for performance, cost, and quality optimization.
- Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation including drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in application design or machine design (packaging/automation industry preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.
- Positive understanding of packaging machinery, automation systems, and machine design concepts
- Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into practical design solutions
- Experience in preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and BOMs
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and PLC (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
