Role Description The AP Chemistry Teacher role at WinQuest Online is a full-time remote position responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-aligned AP Chemistry instruction to high school students. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering live and/or recorded lessons, designing assessments and practice materials, and aligning content with College Board AP Chemistry requirements. The teacher will monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, hold virtual office hours, and communicate regularly with students and families to support academic achievement.

The role also involves collaborating with other educators to refine curriculum,



integrating digital tools to enhance learning, and maintaining accurate records of student performance.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Chemistry Education expertise, including deep knowledge of AP Chemistry curriculum and laboratory concepts.

Candidates should possess effective Teaching skills, with experience in online or blended instruction and classroom management in a virtual environment.

Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills to design structured, engaging, and standards-based units, lessons, and assessments.

Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues in a remote setting.

Candidates should ideally have foundational Physics knowledge to support interdisciplinary STEM learning when appropriate.

Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science Education, or a related field; teaching certification and prior AP Chemistry teaching experience are highly preferred.

Comfort with educational technology platforms, learning management systems, and virtual collaboration tools is strongly beneficial.
