Analyst – General Ledger (GL)

Responsible for managing General Ledger accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, journal entry review, month-end close activities, and compliance with accounting standards. Partners with cross-functional teams to support reporting requirements, maintain GL accounts, and drive timely, high-quality financial processes.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end General Ledger (GL) accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, adjustments, lease accounting (ASC 842), and month-end/quarter-end/year-end close activities with strict adherence to timelines.

Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance with US GAAP/IFRS, and timely resolution of reconciling items.

Drive accounting excellence through independent review and investigation of account balances, cash transactions, intercompany reconciliations, accruals, prepayments,



and other balance sheet accounts to ensure financial integrity.

Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders including Project Management, Lease Administration, Brokerage, and other departments to resolve accounting issues, support audits, and deliver accurate financial reporting.

Lead process improvement and standardization initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, enhancing operational efficiencies, strengthening controls, and implementing industry best practices across accounting processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting or Finance

2-3 years of relevant experience

Robust MS Excel & MS Word skills

Experience with Oracle R12 or other ERP systems

Ability to investigate and resolve accounting issues independently

Good understanding of accounting compliance, accuracy, and completeness
