Role & responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end paint shop operations ensuring achievement of production, quality, cost, delivery, and safety objectives.
- Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans aligned with business requirements.
- Plan manpower deployment, skill mapping, training, and shift rotation to maximize productivity.
- Control and optimize critical paint parameters to ensure process stability and consistent finish quality.
- Supervise manual and robotic painting operations to achieve first-time-right quality.
- Monitor paint consumption norms and implement initiatives for cost reduction and waste elimination.
- Conduct paint defect analysis, root cause investigation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance of paint booths, ovens, robots, and utilities with maintenance teams.
