Qualification: CA / CMA (ICWA) Mandatory; CS Qualified (Preferred) or Solid Secretarial Compliance Exposure

Experience: 16 23 Years of progressive experience in Manufacturing / FMCG / Food Processing Industry

Role Summary:

The DGM Accounts & Finance will lead the overall financial strategy, governance framework, compliance discipline, cost control mechanism, plant financial management, and treasury structuring of the organization (230 Cr turnover in FY 202526).

The role is designed to build a scalable, IPO-ready financial structure to support targeted growth to 500 Cr by FY 202829, ensuring strong EBITDA performance, working capital efficiency, structured budgeting, SAP-driven financial + IPO-ready governance, and

enhanced stakeholder confidence.

The position directly reports to the Executive Director Finance & HR and will also oversee Company Secretary (CS) responsibilities and Board / Corporate governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership & Governance

- Provide strategic financial direction aligned with company growth objectives
- Support Executive Director Finance & HR in long-term financial planning
- Develop scalable financial systems to support expansion up to 500 Cr
- Establish IPO-ready governance framework and internal financial controls
- Drive accountability and financial discipline across HO and Plants

Departmental Budgeting & Financial Control

- Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and structured departmental budgeting process
- Ensure implementation of Budget vs Actual monitoring across all departments
- Implement zero-based budgeting and cost rationalization initiatives
- Conduct quarterly financial forecasting and rolling budget reviews
- Ensure strict budget adherence and corrective action mechanism

Plant Costing, Profitability & Operational Finance Control

- Prepare plant-wise and product-wise profitability statements
- Strengthen product costing and BOM validation framework
- Monitor RM variance,



yield variance and overhead absorption
- Drive conversion cost reduction initiatives
- Conduct monthly plant financial performance review with Operations & SCM
- Improve EBITDA margins through cost optimization initiatives

SAP Governance & Financial Process Streamlining

- Ensure 100% financial transaction routing through SAP
- Strengthen SAP controls, authorization matrix and maker-checker system
- Drive automation of MIS and financial reporting systems
- Streamline financial workflows for transparency and audit readiness
- Reduce manual interventions and strengthen system-based compliance
- Improve financial reporting accuracy and turnaround time

Financial Reporting, MIS & Management Review

- Lead monthly financial closure with variance analysis vs Budget
- Prepare P&L;, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
- Develop structured MIS dashboards for management decision-making
- Present Monthly & Quarterly Financial Review to Executive Director
- Highlight risks, cost trends, working capital status and profitability analysis

Treasury, Working Capital & Financial Structuring

- Manage banking relationships and negotiate borrowing terms
- Optimize working capital cycle (Inventory, Receivables, Payables)
- Monitor fund flow, cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Optimize finance cost and interest burden
- Structure surplus fund deployment through Fixed Deposits (FD) and short-term instruments
- Evaluate structured Gratuity Fund / Gratuity Trust formation for financial efficiency
- Identify innovative funding strategies for capex and expansion

Insurance & Risk Governance (Group Level)

- Design and manage Group Insurance (GI), Mediclaim and Employee Benefit policies
- Ensure adequate coverage for Plant & Machinery, Stock, Assets and Liability




- Conduct annual insurance review and cost optimization
- Maintain structured risk register and mitigation framework
- Monitor insurance claims and policy compliance

Internal Controls, Audit & Compliance

- Strengthen internal financial controls and SOP implementation
- Lead Internal Audit, Statutory Audit and Tax Audit processes
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC and other statutory requirements
- Maintain audit-ready documentation aligned with IPO standards

IPO Readiness & Corporate Governance

- Develop financial reporting framework aligned with listing standards
- Strengthen documentation, audit trails and disclosure discipline
- Ensure compliance under Companies Act and future SEBI requirements
- Coordinate with consultants, merchant bankers and legal advisors (as required)
- Establish structured Board governance and reporting mechanisms

Company Secretary (CS) Responsibilities

• Conduct and document Board Meetings, AGM and EGM

• Maintain statutory registers and ROC filings

• Draft Board Resolutions and governance documentation

• Ensure compliance under Companies Act and Secretarial Standards

• Support corporate restructuring and equity structuring initiatives

Business Partnering & Cost Leadership

• Work closely with SCM, Production and Sales teams to align financial goals

• Evaluate pricing strategy and margin structure

• Analyze new business proposals and capex ROI

• Drive productivity improvements across all P&L; cost lines

• Identify cost leakage areas and implement corrective actions

• Service contract agreement and renewal (third party agreement / contract, renewal)

• Third-party / contractor payment post verifying all legal compliances void contract terms and conditions.

• Ensure timely payment of third party as well contract renewal.

Team Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead Accounts, Finance & Compliance teams

• Define KPIs and conduct structured performance reviews

• Build second-line leadership for scalable growth

• Promote system-driven discipline and accountability culture
