Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Alteryx Data Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Alteryx Designer, ETL development, data integration, data transformation, and analytics automation.

Experience with SQL, cloud platforms, and BI tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Alteryx Designer.

- Build automated data pipelines for data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.

- Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and flat files.

- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to understand data requirements.

- Develop reusable Alteryx workflows, macros, and analytic applications.

- Monitor and troubleshoot workflow performance issues and implement optimizations.

- Create technical documentation, process flows, and operational runbooks.

- Participate in data governance, security, and compliance initiatives.

- Support reporting and analytics requirements using BI tools.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- 3-7 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL Development.

- Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer.

- Expertise in SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.

- Experience in ETL/ELT concepts,



data warehousing, and data modeling.

- Knowledge of workflow optimization and performance tuning in Alteryx.

- Experience with data cleansing, transformation, and analytics automation.

- Familiarity with Git, version control, and SDLC practices.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Alteryx Server/Gallery administration.

- Exposure to Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.

- Knowledge of Python or R integration within Alteryx.

- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

- Alteryx certification (Core, Advanced, or Designer Expert) is a plus.
