People & Careers ALLDATA Europe Names Damian Milling UK Sales Director Published: October 13, 2025 Author: Luke Redfern ALLDATA Europe has appointed Damian Milling as Sales Director, tasking him with spearheading UK operations and supporting European growth for the OEM repair, maintenance and diagnostics data specialist. The move forms part of a sales restructure designed to tighten collaboration with partners that rely on manufacturer-authenticated repair data in daily workshop operations, with Milling reporting to Peter Ballè, the company’s recent VP Sales. A focus on UK growth and partner support ALLDATA Europe says the new position underpins ongoing investment in the UK since 2023, aligning field sales, training and customer support so workshops receive consistent assistance whether they buy direct or via reseller and referral partners.
Milling will oversee these teams to ensure data access and onboarding are efficient and measurable in workshop environments. Modern vehicles are increasingly complex, and independent garages face time and revenue risks without verified procedures. “ALLDATA Repair is a need,” Milling said. “With genuine OEM repair data, jobs that should take six hours take six hours — not eight with only six billed.” He argues reliable diagnostics and procedures translate directly into labour accuracy and customer trust.
Experience across the aftermarket Milling brings more than 30 years’ aftermarket experience, from Mill Auto Supplies — where he progressed from warehouse to sales and marketing manager — to roles at ZF and nearly nine years with filtration specialist Mann+Hummel. He also has close family ties to an independent workshop, grounding his approach in day-to-day garage realities. Reporting lines and European brief The Sales Director role reports to Peter Ballè, ALLDATA Europe’s new VP Sales.
In practice, Milling will prioritise UK field activity while supporting wider European initiatives to expand the footprint of ALLDATA Repair among workshops and partner channels. Product depth and culture Milling said he was drawn by both the breadth of the data set (now covering around 100 million articles across 44 vehicle manufacturers) and the company culture. “ALLDATA is a breath of fresh air. I can be myself and bring my personality to the role. I’ve jumped in and I’m keen to meet partners and prospects.” Regulatory backdrop and data access Secure access to vehicle repair and maintenance information remains central to aftermarket competitiveness, alongside schemes such as the Security-Related Repair and Maintenance Information (SERMI) authorisation framework that governs access to security-sensitive procedures in the EU. For workshops, compliant, traceable data access supports safe repairs and audit readiness (see the official SERMI programme for background). Targets and outlook Milling’s immediate goals are straightforward: improve field coverage, make training stick, and keep support uniform regardless of channel. “Our goal is simple: to be the best,” he said. “We know ALLDATA Repair is essential for workshops, and with my help, I believe we can persuade more to share that view.” Tagged with: ALLDATA Europe, OEM repair data, aftermarket workshops, diagnostics and maintenance, UK aftermarket, SERMI compliance,
