About The Role The client's in-house Content Studio is building a production engine designed to move at the speed of ideas. As their Video Editor, you will own the full post-production process across various formats and platforms - ranging from short-form social clips and YouTube explainers to event highlights and executive content.

This is not a traditional support role. You will be a creative decision-maker responsible for shipping finished work, leveraging AI tools to compress production timelines, and consistently raising the bar for what corporate in-house video can achieve.

What You Will Do

- Edit Across Formats: Produce short-form social content, long-form YouTube videos, event recaps, and product showcases, seamlessly adapting pacing and energy for each platform without requiring separate briefs.
- Drive Creative Autonomy: Work directly from raw footage, rough briefs, or unpolished transcripts to make confident creative decisions without constant supervision.
- Leverage AI: Utilize AI-powered video tools (such as Runway, Descript, Kapwing, Remotion, or equivalents)



to accelerate turnaround times while maintaining premium quality.
- Studio Operation: Work out of a fully-equipped Bangalore studio featuring high-fidelity cameras, a virtual production screen, and broadcast-grade audio setups.
- Iterate Rapidly: Deliver same-day cuts, respond swiftly to asynchronous feedback, and navigate iterative review cycles without losing momentum.
- Build Assets: Create and maintain a comprehensive library of reusable templates, motion elements, and brand-consistent MOGRT assets to streamline future edits.
- Manage Resources: Direct and brief external freelance editors during high-volume periods, ensuring quality and brand consistency across all shipped content.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Production Managers, Product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to align on narrative goals before the first frame is ever cut.

Who You Are
- Story-First Thinker: You view editing as a creative storytelling act, not merely a technical task.
- Technically Fluent: You have 2+ years of highly engaged experience and are fluent in at least one major NLE (Premiere, DaVinci, CapCut), plus a solid working knowledge of the AI tools currently reshaping post-production.
- Platform Savvy: You inherently understand what makes content perform on LinkedIn, YouTube, and short-form platforms, instinctively making format-specific choices.
- Adaptable & Resilient: You excel in tight feedback loops. Last-minute changes, iterative cuts,



and asynchronous reviews do not disrupt your creative rhythm.
- Proactive Owner: If a cut isn't landing, you flag it and propose an immediate solution rather than waiting for top-down redirection.
- Clear Communicator: You can effortlessly explain your creative choices to non-editors without relying on jargon, and you take direction well without losing your unique point of view.
- Highly Organized: You have a proven system for managing multiple overlapping projects, tight deadlines, and shifting priorities under pressure.

Bonus Points if You Have
- Light motion graphics or basic animation skills to reduce reliance on external animation studios.
- Experience shooting or editing executive thought-leadership content, where the narrative relies heavily on pacing and subtlety.
- Familiarity with programmatic video tools (like Remotion or Claude Code) that push the boundaries of traditional editing workflows.
