3D Modeling & Detailing: Develop and maintain accurate, constructible 3D structural models using Tekla Structures for platforms, pipe racks, stair towers, and equipment supports.
Drawing Production: Generate General Arrangement (GA), shop, erection, and fabrication drawings, including accurate connection details and weld maps.
Clash Detection: Perform model reviews and coordinate with other engineering disciplines to proactively resolve clashes.
Documentation: Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTO), Bill of Materials (BOM), and ensure accurate NC/DXF exports for fabrication.
Standards Compliance:
Ensure all models and details adhere to international standards (such as AISC for steel and OSHA for safety/fall protection) and specific client requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: Typically 3 to10 years of dedicated structural steel detailing and modeling experience in industrial plants, refining, or oil & gas projects.
Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Tekla Structures, paired with familiarity in AutoCAD and potentially other design tools like AVEVA E3D.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes, bolted/welded connections, and constructability.
