The work supports AI-powered systems used across 70,000+ schools in Maharashtra through the NIPUN Maharashtra Mission.

Company: VOPA Role: AI_ML Engineer Location: Kothrud, Pune Experience 0–3 years experience

Freshers with demonstrable skills are encouraged

Ability to build, experiment, troubleshoot, and learn fast Responsibilities Build AI systems beyond tutorials and prototypes

Work on real-world education challenges at scale

Fine-tune open-source models for Marathi handwriting and speech tasks

Build scalable ML pipelines and evaluation systems

Deploy AI models for cloud and edge environments

Work on production-grade AI systems

Collaborate with a technically solid and mission-driven team Additional Responsibilities Understand Transformers, LLMs, and model fine-tuning

Use LoRA, QLoRA, HuggingFace, PEFT, or Unsloth

Work with PyTorch and ML training pipelines

Understand model deployment, GPU inference, and cloud infrastructure

Contribute to Computer Vision, ASR, Indic language AI, or handwriting recognition
