Role Overview iamneo is looking for an AI Engineering Trainer — Phase 2 (The Auditor) to deliver the advanced AI auditing and debugging phase of its AI Track. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in QA, security testing, DevSecOps, incident response, and code auditing for AI-generated systems.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years in QA engineering, security testing, DevSecOps, or senior debugging roles
- Hands-on experience auditing AI-generated codebases for bugs, security flaws, and logic defects
- Experience handling production incidents including live diagnosis, stakeholder communication, and postmortem creation
- Strong practical exposure to OWASP Top 10 and real-world web application security testing
- 3+ years delivering security, debugging, or DevSecOps training
- Comfortable running incident simulations, adversarial labs, and hands-on debugging exercises
Required Technical Skills AI Code Quality & Debugging Understanding of common issues in AI-generated code such as logic errors, incorrect API usage,
and incomplete implementations Strong debugging approach using structured problem-solving (Observe → Hypothesise → Experiment → Conclude)
Ability to analyze and work with unfamiliar codebases and perform root cause analysis
Security & Code Auditing Practical understanding of OWASP Top 10 (SQL injection, XSS, authentication issues, etc.)
Experience using security tools such as OWASP ZAP, Snyk, Semgrep, or similar
Knowledge of secure coding practices and vulnerability identification
Debugging & Observability Experience with logging, monitoring, and debugging tools (e.g., structured logs, ELK stack, or similar)
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues, memory leaks, and system bottlenecks
Basic understanding of database performance debugging
Development & Tools Working knowledge of Python and web applications
Familiarity with APIs and up-to-date development workflows
Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver training sessions on debugging, security, and code quality in AI-assisted development
- Teach structured debugging methodologies and best practices
- Conduct incident response simulations and hands-on exercises
- Guide learners through real-world scenarios involving faulty or insecure codebases
- Design and maintain lab environments for debugging and security practice
- Evaluate learner performance and provide actionable feedback
- Support continuous improvement of curriculum and training content
