About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Lead to join our team at Qualcomm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing large-scale, cross-functional software development initiatives within our Data Center AI software stack.

Your expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies will be crucial in establishing effective delivery cadences, enabling teams to work predictably, and ensuring transparency through data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and partner teams across multiple sites and geographies to manage scope, dependencies, risks, and releases, ensuring timely and quality delivery of our AI solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in program or project management within Agile environments, demonstrating a strong record of delivering complex software initiatives involving multiple teams. A solid understanding of contemporary AI/ML software systems and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technical dependencies is essential.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience working with distributed teams across different time zones and stakeholder groups,



along with excellent facilitation and communication skills, is required.

Preferred qualifications include Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP, proficiency with Agile tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, and familiarity with AI/ML platforms, cloud-native delivery, containers, orchestration, CI/CD, and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end program execution across multiple Agile teams, delivering components of the AI software stack including models, frameworks, compilers, runtimes, serving, and platform interfaces.
- Maintain and own the integrated plan, aligning roadmaps with milestones, dependencies, capacity, risks, and delivery commitments to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable backlogs and release plans, facilitating prioritization and trade-off discussions.
- Establish and oversee Agile operating cadences such as sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives, while driving cross-team alignment through Scrum-of-Scrums and program syncs.
- Coordinate execution across distributed teams and geographies, ensuring clear ownership, dependency management, and shared definitions of readiness and completion.
- Drive release planning, scope control, and change management processes, including readiness criteria and go/no-go decisions, to ensure predictable delivery cycles.
- Identify, escalate, and proactively resolve impediments, mitigating delivery, technical, schedule, and integration risks with designated owners and deadlines.




- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels, facilitating decision-making and alignment without direct authority.
- Create transparent program reports utilizing Agile metrics such as velocity, burn-up/down charts, cycle time, throughput, and quality signals to inform stakeholders and support data-driven decisions.
- Promote continuous improvement by coaching Agile practices, enhancing team flow efficiency, and strengthening cross-team collaboration and release readiness.
