AI-Assisted Software Developer and QA Engineer

About the Role

Starvox Labs builds agentic AI products used by real businesses. We're looking for an AI Software Developer who can own the full lifecycle of a feature from spec to production using AI coding tools to move fast while still understanding, testing, and shipping clean code yourself.Convert detailed specification documents into working software using AI coding tools. Understand the generated code, refine it where needed, and rigorously test every feature before handing it over to the DevOps team.

What You'll Do

· Build features from detailed specs, end to end

· Use AI coding assistants (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) productively and understand every line before it ships

· Develop backend services in Python (FastAPI/Flask/Django)

· Integrate LLMs and AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, open-source models)

· Build AI agents, voice AI, chatbots, and workflow automation

· Build/maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations

· Work with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering

· Test rigorously (functional, regression, edge cases); document clearly

· Deploy to production, monitor, and iterate

Must Have





· Strong fundamentals: Python, REST APIs, SQL, Git

· Working exposure to LLMs/GenAI and prompt engineering

· Ability to use AI coding assistants productively and debug/explain the output

· Strong manual testing and documentation habits

Good to Have

FastAPI, Django/Flask, LangChain/LangGraph, RAG, vector DBs, PostgreSQL/MongoDB, Docker, AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, React/Next.js, voice AI tooling

Who Should Apply

Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years' experience. Degree in CS/IT/AI-ML/Engineering preferred ,but 2–3 solid GitHub or portfolio projects (AI apps, backend systems, LLM integrations) matter just as much.

Success in First 3 Months

Ship features from spec with minimal production defects, keep test documentation solid, and hand off cleanly with minimal hand-holding.
