JOB TITLE: Aerosol Operator

DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTING TO: Production Supervisor / Production Manager

Job Purpose To operate and monitor aerosol filling, crimping, gassing, and packaging equipment safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with GMP, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate aerosol filling machines, crimping machines, gas charging units, and associated production equipment.
- Perform line setup, machine adjustments, and changeovers as per production requirements.
- Verify batch details, product specifications, and packaging materials before commencement of production.
- Monitor filling weights, pressure levels, crimp dimensions, and product quality during production.
- Ensure accurate recording of production data, batch records, and machine logbooks.
- Conduct routine equipment cleaning and line clearance activities as per SOPs.
- Follow GMP, safety, and housekeeping requirements at all times.
- Report machine breakdowns, quality deviations, and safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist maintenance personnel during preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of propellants, raw materials, and packaging materials.
- Minimize product wastage and maintain optimum production efficiency.
- Perform leak testing, weight checks, and visual inspection of aerosol products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.




- Support production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / HSC or equivalent qualification.
- Technical training in aerosol manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in aerosol manufacturing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or chemical industries.
- Experience in operating aerosol filling and packaging equipment preferred.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of aerosol production processes.
- Understanding of GMP, safety, and quality systems.
- Ability to operate production machinery efficiently.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic documentation and record-keeping knowledge.
- Teamwork and communication skills.

Working Conditions
- Manufacturing plant workplace.
- Rotational shifts as per production requirements.
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
